DEFENDING GLORY by Anne Albert is a good read.

While both have been damaged by events in their lives, the hero, Mac sees Piedmont, Minnesota as place to hide from his painful past, and the heroine, Glory views the town as a place to create her future. It's interesting to see how they each respond to the challenges they face as outside forces conspire to destroy them. The peaceful small town setting is a perfect contrast for the dark underlying mystery.

The romance is super sweet. I don't remember the hero and the heroine even kissing, but the sexual tension is there. There's also a thread of Christian inspirational running through the story, but I never felt preached to. The characters' religious beliefs are woven seamlessly into the storyline and added to the hero's redemption.

If you like your romantic suspense free of sex and gore, but filled with emotion and a touch of faith, Ms Albert's DEFENDING GLORY is a good choice.

Romance and Mystery, both together! This was a really good book! I really enjoyed all of the characters, they were really well written! I kind of guessed who the bad guy was pretty early, but it was enjoyable reading the story and watching how it all played out.

A great story of someone rediscovering their faith. I won this book in a blog giveaway.
