When former Texas Ranger Rick Taylor found himself down on his luck in the town of Friendly, he was grateful for saloon owner Lou Conway’s offer of a job. But he soon fell afoul of crooked banker Bill Murdoch, especially once the townspeople chose Rick as their sheriff. When the town bank was robbed, Rick was faced with the task of catching the culprits and proving Murdoch’s own involvement in forgery and theft. Aided by the beautiful Helen Gomez, old-timer Charlie Skinner and his friend Lou, Rick had to succeed if he was to remain Sheriff of Friendly.
