God also, revealed to Samuel: “About this time tomorrow I will send you to a man from the land of Benjamin. Anoint him leader over my people Israel; he will deliver my people from the hand of the Philistines.” 1st Samuel 9:15-16
God changed King Saul’s inner disposition through his anointing by the Holy Spirit. This change was unconditional or permanent, but something that could be maintained only by the Holy fellowship with a loving obedience to God.
