An excellent fantasy novel, and the best from Glenda Larke in my mind. Good and challenging ideas, intriguing world, good writing and great action.
I still want more from that universe ^_^

Havenstar, by Glenda Lark is a worthwhile read. The author is a master story teller and brings the tale alive with depth and action. I have read other books by her also and this one a new favorite. The world she creates with the fantasy held my interest.

This is a wonderful stand-alone fantasy, and I am so happy that it is now available as an ebook! I have it in hard copy but as Havenstar is a 'keeper' to be re-read over and over again, I decided to treat myself to the e-book version, too.

This is one of my favourite books written by Glenda Larke who wrote as Glenda Noramly (her married name). It was her first book and is a wonderful story full of everything that makes fantasy worth reading. I have the book but I still bought the electronic version. It is about a journey undertaken by an assortment of different characters including the heroine Keris Kaylen who is running away from the strict law enforced by the religious order of her world and details the many adventures the group encounter with an evil Unmaker as the main antagonist. All the things that happen make for excellent reading. I am not alone in having read this story many times.
