I was a little disappointed with this book. Although I though the plot lines were great, I felt the the story could have been fleshed out a lot more. The story seemed to move too quickly for me and lacked character and relationship development. Still, an enjoyable read and reading the books as a boxed set allowed me to quickly follow on with the lives of the women I had met in the story.

The stories seem to be written to stereotypes and this makes the characters come out flat and unengaging. A good editor is required as there are numerous plural/possessive and usage errors and even a couple of places where words have been left out so the sentences are incomplete and do not make sense. The dialogue does not sound believable but the situations and locations are acceptable. As a Beverly Lewis fan I hope the author will do more research and engage the talents of a good editor to bring this set of stories up to that standard.

This was my first experience reading Amish romance and I was very happy to have a peek into this world. The trilogy is fast-paced and there are good character developments as we get to meet three sisters and see what choices they make with their lives and whether they stay with the Amish culture or move to the evil big city.
I must say that I was a bit surprised at how randy the young ladies came off as. The sight of their suitors certainly made their hearts beat a little faster!
All in all, aside from some typos and repetition I found this to be a good introduction to the Amish romance genre.

The story ideas were good but I felt that they could have been expanded. I found the language rather stilted but then I don't come from an area where there are any Amish. I had a problem with some of the grammar and errors. I found it interesting so will give it 2 stars.

This book was so engrossing. It made me feel as if I was living with them and sharing their daily life with them. I grew so close to them while I was reading it. To me a good book gets you so involved with the story that your emotions are engaged and this book does just that for me.
Engaging and heartwarming.
Read it, you'll like it.

The book had editing errors and grammar errors, but, I have read a lot of books, I have had very few which gave me chills and had me teary eyed as many times as I had in this book. The stories are all from the heart and just get to you. I truly enjoyed this book.
