Short description

Book 30 of the Assassin Chronicles brings the series to a close. The Knight of Death and his Order of the Red Cross of Gold have come to the end of the road and it's time to say goodbye. Many loose ends are tied, questions are answers, dilemmas are solved and mysteries revealed. But does this mean life as he knew will cease to exist? Is this the end of the world or is it a new beginning?

Extended description

With the battle of Armageddon behind them, the Order is shattered into several pieces. Individuals seem to be popping in and out of existence as the Queen of the Abyss continues with her plans for a family reunion. It is up to the Knight of Death and the Healer to learn what is going on. Help shows up in an unexpected manner and the Mystic Healer's sons become instrumental in solving the mystery of where they are and how they got there.
As more and more of Marduk's fifty powers are unleashed, the situation seems totally out of control. If the powers succeed in their various missions, any number of terrifying consequences will be unleashed on the earth.
Lucifer's new mission is fulfilled when he finds his way to the Abyss where he finds the Dove, Sophia and their son, Michael Emmanuel.
The Chevalier du Morte is torn in several directions as he fights for his freedom.
