We first met Annie in The Devil and my Bicycle the first novella in The Devil’s Bike series. She was the object of a young man’s obsession and he had to cross many hurdles to get to her. He rode a bicycle two hundred miles across Texas to reach her. Along the way he would be chased by monsters, make a deal with the Devil and encounter a friendly serial killer named Todd. In “Love Potion” we learn the origins of the bicycle rider’s obsessive love.
