About Kevin Haupt

I published a computer basics book in South Africa in 2002, 'Computers are only human', which was aimed at the complete beginner. Although outdated now, it is still available in some obscure online bookshops. 'The Stone Circle' is my first novel and is the result of 4 years of part-time writing while I slaved away at my day job as a Data Analyst in the IT field.

I am currently writing the sequel: 'The Crystal Vortex'. It follows Simon and Tom on a new adventure as Draskrath crosses the divide between the parallel worlds.

Originally South African, I currently live in Tralee, Ireland

Review by: David Hart on March 09, 2013 :
A fabulous read, one that you will not be able to put down until you are finished. Imagination, fantasy, wisdom, idealism - juxtaposed to detailed and humourous observations of daily life. Beautifully written with a keen pace.

A surprising read for a free book. The quality at times is of a high standard that one would find in accomplished writers. Indeed, the words, structure and idealism used is very heavy in parts and makes for an exciting read throughout. A rare read, in that one can picture each scene vividly in their own imagination. Lurid details cannot be missed.

For me this book offers the reader more than what is normally given. Imagination flourishes and this book reads well and cannot be easily placed aside.

This is the first of a trilogy and I for one cannot wait to read the next 2 books and even all follow up stories/novellas by this up and coming author.
