Wise and insightful, with some wonderful use of language - the train metaphor and 'my monsters hide within me' are just two.

This is a moving, powerful story. The writing keeps you engaged. It's heart-wrenching to be absorbed in this girl's life. I recommend it.

I really like the message of the book, I think it should be read by parents as well.

I planned reading this book on the day it was released, but I haven't really gotten the time to do it since I tend to procrastinate everything. But today, I finally read it and I'm so glad I did. It has become one of my favourite books. The words are perfect, the book is perfectly gripping. I loved it. You did an amazing job, Amelia. ♥

This book was great. I read it in one night because I got so addicted to it. I loved the suspense in finding out who Sam was. Really great writing and great (I guess you could say) quotes, like the monsters don't hide under my bed but instead in me. The ending wrapped the book up perfectly. Please write more books!

I read this book about two days ago. Let me tell you, you did an amazing job! It's my favourite book so far, i've been telling people at school to even read it! I truly believe that this book, a bunch of teenagers can relate to it, just like I did. It's absolutely phenomenal, i'm looking forward to more of your books (hopefully!) in the future!

I got this book last night and finished it in a couple of hours. By the end I was sobbing. It is phenomenal. Absolutely brilliant. It brings to light an important topic, that not many people understand, and presents it well. Well written and beautiful. I will definitely be recommending this book to everyone I know.
