Extended description

This is a fiction short story about an infrared sensor operator aboard a C-130 gunship that gets shot down over a jungle when trying to protect a five-man Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol (LRRP) chased by a large contingent of enemy soldiers through the jungle. The enemy targets the plane and swamps its countermeasures by firing 16 surface-to-air missiles, downing the aircraft. The sensor operator bails out on command of the plane captain and finds himself on the jungle floor in enemy territory with a snickers bar and an emergency locator transmitter.
