Who would think a tale of obsession would turn into a true love story? That's exactly what Trust and Love by Na- I mean Jason E. Maurer is. While I don't condone the aspects of cheating in the novel, you can never cheat on true love. That being said, if you are cheating on someone you don't love them. Be it Natasha, Jeff, or anyone else. I read Trust and Love in nearly one sitting. The writing flows effortlessly in a diary-like telling of a two year journey. Obsession can do crazy things to a person, but what happens when said obsession comes to fruition? The overall theme of this novel is "It gets better" and that is a cause I can really get behind. The end seemed a little to picture perfect for me, but that's what fairy tales are for. When you're looking for hope, why not strive for perfect? This is the third time I've read this novel, throughout its evolution and it got better every time. It is so full of real emotion that you can't help but keep reading. Jason E. Maurer breathes life into his novels, and Trust and Love is no exception.

This book is a very moving and heartfelt account of a gay relationship. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Jason has excelled himself with this brilliant story. I would highly recommend it.
