Angst, sex, love, and redemption in the boonies of Maine.

If Ms. Keller can keep turning out books like "Waiting for Spring," she's going to have to quit her job at a convenience store and start writing full time! I hope she does. "Waiting for Spring" is a marvelous novel, and it proves that new, independent authors can produce work as good as any big-name authors.
As I got into the book, I was leaning toward classifying it as "chick lit," but it's more than that. It's just literature. Period. The characters are very real, and by the time I got hooked, Tess and Brian and Rachel and Zeke and the other characters were real people with true emotions. I cared about them, and I blew past my normal bedtime for several nights until I finished the story and learned how it ended. And there were several ways that the story could have ended, but Ms. Keller's ending was ultimately the most logical and satisfying, I think.
Two thumbs up and highly recommended reading for anyone.

I cannot believe this author is not published, what a fantastic book! Everything is good from the writing, the characters to the ending.

I was amazed at how much I loved this book, not being a fan of melancholy - which is what the blurb made me think. It's not at all depressing, it simply grabbed me and kept me turning the pages til I finished. A fantastic read, folks.

A great read!
It's hard to imagine this is the author's first book.
The character development was good, really made you care about them and what happened to them. Had my hankie going at some parts, and I'm not usually one for weepiness.
Thanks for the great read.
Now I'm "waiting" for your next one!

I live in a small, fairly remote town in Alaska (instead of Maine), and I felt like I knew all of these people. The characters felt entirely real, and I almost started crying at one point near the end (you'll know exactly where when you read it!). I found my stomach knotting up at other times, as though I'd just heard bad news from a good friend on the phone.
I find it hard to believe this is Ms. Keller's first book!
