We lived the simple life in the hills of Pennsylvania. My daughter was always very outgoing and was always smiling until the day my nightmare began. I came home early from work one day to find my daughter out of control. Her boyfriend was there trying to calm her down. She was screaming and trying to hurt herself. I called my husband, my girlfriend and my brother in law who came over immediately as they heard her in the background. Everyone was trying to restrain her from putting her fist through the door and window. But she had this strength from within that continued to fight us all. As I am calling 911 to get an ambulance here, the operator heard the sounds coming from this 105 lb girl and asked if I wanted the police also. I told her to send them all. In this book, I will take you through my hell from that day forward. I call this book My Addiction...My Daughter because I want to help others who may be going through something similar and I don't want them to make the same mista.. One can really feel the emotion in the authors words. This author explains in great detail and brings you into that time in her families lives. A very good book.
