Review by: Laurence Clark Crossen on March 18, 2014 :
A very concise distillation of his knowledge of the profoundly beneficial impact on life on Earth Global Warming has brought and will bring. He details how each Holocene warm period has benefited civilization and how each cold period has harmed it. By taking a broader view he has drawn out this important conclusion missed by many scholars deeply informed about the effects of climate on human history.
