***Spoiler alert***
A very well-written story, but the idea behind it, that of a person faking a haunting only to then encounter a real ghost, is a very old and over-used scenario. In fact it was one of the examples I quoted of commonly-used ghost stories in my review of Michael Carter's "Uncontainable" on this very site a month or so ago.
In all other respects, this story was good.

Thanks for turning me on to flash fiction. I've now read all of your stories (at least those on Smashwords as of May 2013) and enjoyed them all! Who knew you could travel so far in the mind with so few words.
