Okay: Usually the only books I read are historical romance and cook books. As I began reading this book, it became harder and harder to put down. I got so caught up in the story and the characters, when I got to the end I practically screemed, "Noooooooo". This book captured my attention and held on tight. I couldn't put it down. The only disappointment is I have to wait for the next book.

I usaully read true stories and maybe a little romance. I thought that I would read this a little before bed each night. But WOW! I starting reading and I couldn't put it down. This book and the characters pull you in and they don't let go. There is definatly something for everyone in this book. The Author does a FABULOUS job of introducing you to all of the characters in the book. Once I started I couldn't stop till I was done. Awesome book! I can't wait to get stared on the next one.

This isn't my normal genre of reading but this still will grab you and hold on to your attention until the last page is turned. There's a little for everyone: action, humor, romance, with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. Is it May yet?

This a well written book that you will find hard to put down. Lots of suspense and surprises which keeps it interesting. Science fiction but also very believable. Great job by the author and I am looking forward to the next chapter.

When I first heard about the book from the author, I didn't know what to think. I'm not a big novel reader. I pretty much just read the book because he is a good friend. About 5 minutes into the book and I was hooked, it grabbed my attention and put it in a vise!! My ONLY complaint is that I have to wait until MAY to read his next book in the Monster Squad series! I loved this book so much I will bug the author every single day until the next one is released! Buy this book and you will thank me later, you will not put it down until you finished and and you will be "thirsting" for more!

Seriously, why didn't I wait to read this until all of the books in this series were out? Now I have to wait. :( Very well written, and honestly I didn't known what to expect. I was about 15 pages in and completely hooked. The plot, character development, and everything else came together well in a way that I didn't quite expect. Well done.

I purchased an autographed copy of this paperback and was given a code to download a free copy of this for my Kindle and to leave a review.
I must say, I was more than pleasantly surprised. The story jumps right into the action, pulling the reader in before you realize what has happened. Each section leaves you wanting more, each chapter makes you want to continue reading until the next thing you know, you've put off what you were supposed to be doing and you've delved so deeply into the book that you feel you've become a part of the story.
The characters are very well developed and there is just enough left to the reader's imagination that you can almost feel the anxiety of the action.
Truly amazing. I can't wait for the next installment.

I couldn't put it down and read it straight through.
Very well written. The characters were believable and well developed. Just enough action, suspense and plot twists to keep me turning the pages rather than dog-earing it and putting it down.
When is the next one! I need it NOW!

Excellent job. A good mix of reality and fantasy where the lines between the two are blurred just enough that the reader is left wondering. The characters come to life and the storyline leaves you craving more.
Can't wait until May and the next book!
Thank you!
