Australian fantasy writer who draws inspiration from Japanese culture, music immersion, and warped dreams.

I found this to be one of the more earthy, grim stories in the Treading Twisting Lines series, with a taste of realism that makes the dark aspects of the story feel darker. The description is well-written and engaging, immersing you in the experience through the eyes of the young unfortunate Rat, a character who holds a poignant mix of naive childish hope and old-before-his time wariness - the perfect witness in a story where innocent facades can be more than deceiving...
I eagerly remain tuned for the next instalment in the TTL series.
