About Art Meister

In his 25+ year career, Art has been on the factory floor of nearly every type of industry in America. His expertise is helping executives achieve their corporate initiatives through growth consulting services and development of their sales teams. His career has included 14 years in the chemical industry of which 8 years was spent in the oil fields of California, and 6 additional years in the remaining industrial sectors from food processing plants, to automotive manufacturers, to semiconductors. He spent 4 years as a commodities broker in the 80’s and survived the stock market crash on October 19, 1987, “Black Monday.” In 1999 Art joined Frost & Sullivan as Director of Sales and was promoted to Vice President of Sales where he served as an integral part of all facets of the corporate sales management process. His responsibilities included strategic planning, budget establishment and control, growth consulting, sales training and recruiting in the Industrial, Healthcare, Information Technology and Professional Services Divisions. Reporting directly to the Chairman of Frost & Sullivan, David Frigstad, Art took great pride in his leadership of Frost & Sullivan’s acquisition of Technical Insights and the Growth Consulting Teams. In addition, he championed the growth and development of the most successful division in the company’s history. Mr. Frigstad credits Art’s ability to ask “provocative” questions, as the reason establishing “C” level relationships seemed easy.

In 2005, Art founded Top 5 Corporation, a provider of growth strategy consulting, sales coaching, and sales development services. Art has sold from the "lunchroom to the boardroom," from an outside sales position to an inside sales position. He has worked trade shows, conferences and summits with a variety of audiences and perfected methods that generate qualified leads and increased sales dollars. He has also interviewed in excess of 1000 sales people and personally reviewed thousands of resumes. He knows what it takes to secure that new sales position and advance in your current career.

As technology has evolved, Art has successfully implemented new IT solutions with proven review and monitoring techniques that continue to drive the growth of companies he works with. He has provided sales and growth consulting services in the Industrial, Healthcare, and IT/Telecom industries and has been a member of the “Million Dollar Round Table,” named District Manager of the Year and Regional Manager of the Year.
