About Deanna Compton

I live in Michigan, where I grew up, with my husband and three children, who are growing up faster than fast. My love of reading inspired me to write, which I found to be another passion.

Review by: Denise Nalepka on Jan. 23, 2014 :
Freecurrent was an exciting fantasy story. Compton did an excellent job of paralleling two characters in two different worlds. The author painted each of the different fantasy races with a lot of depth. She described enough of their histories to give the feel that they were real and had been in existence for a long time. I would definitely recommend Freecurrent.

While it was a little flowery for my tastes and the story could have been more linear, it was certainly an interesting take on the fantasy genre. I look forward to the next book.

it was well organized and quite interesting. The concepts in the story were thought provoking. I had fun seeing a side to our quiet Deanna. I look forward to finding out about the baby.
