Review by: Tj McKinnon on Jan. 07, 2014 :
This book took a while to get to the action and since it didn't really have a romantic sub story it made it difficult to get into it. There was too much going on with the storyline. And it was very abrupt in sections and ended extremely abruptly not so much on a cliff hanger but more on an anti climax.

The side story at the end was way too disturbing for me and almost completely unnecessary from the descriptions of that scene within the book.

The first few chapters drew me in, but I quickly lost interest. The characters were pretty flat, the story started to drag, then abruptly ended. I will not be reading others in this series.

I liked the story. It is not the usual demon/werewolf type of tale. It was a good read.
