Angkora Warlands is brilliant! Grabs hold and won't let go. Those who like Game of Thrones will like this. It will soon become a new classic of modern epic fantasy. It has a world that is as rich and imaginative as any piece of historical fiction. Love the fantasy creatures and the setting before the Great Flood.

This is a highly ambitious and grandiose tale. Highly controversial theory of an Ocean in the Sky. Intriguing, incredible world-building, well developed characters, lots of twists and turns. One of the most unique and original fantasy I've read. Check it Out.

A mixture of different movie scenes that rolled into one. An interesting plot but with Asian "flavours". Those who love Journey to the West will love this. A love story with epic battles.

I love reading this book. It is a tale of love, war and revenge. Being a fan of Asian mythologies, this is one of the best epic fantasy I've ever read. It is about time that somebody writes an epic fantasy based on Asian myths and folklores. It is an easy read but the characters are very well defined. The world creation is very detailed and highly original. The martial arts themed actions and massive epic battles are explosive.

I downloaded and read this shit. This is such a waste time. Its a ripped off from Lord Of The Rings and Journey To The West movies. Don't even bother downloading and reading this crap. Definitely not worth your time. sorry to say but there are better stuff to read than this. Come on...Doesn't deserve a rating at all.

South-East Asian mythology is overflowing in this romance-war epic. Angkora Warlands draws upon the rich traditions of an exotic world to weave the tale of Chinta, a 16-year old girl who holds within her the secret to save her world.

The book fills in a space which sorely needed filling in - digging into the rich veins of Asian legend and turning ancient treasure into an action-packed, cinematic tale which certainly throws the punches and delivers a good kind of kick to the gut. Filled with creatures that are improbable and yet which are familiar at the level of mystery. This would be perfect as a soundtracked animation with epic themes - and do look out for the illustrated hard copy too, while waiting for the studios to sit up.

Intrigued by the trailer, I bought the book. I was totally mesmerized by the mythological Eastern world. The plot is interesting and has a nice love story set amidst a ravaging war. Reads like a movie.
