Here, mender Haru Isuzu helps his fellow fallouts, refugees from other worlds, find their way in a new life. Goaded by his adoptive father with news of a secret scientific expedition, Haru must cross the continent in pursuit, tangling with dangerous fallouts and deadlier knowledge—and some very lovely ladies.

Meanwhile, young Tenma lies dying of a mysterious disease. All hope seems lost until an anonymous letter sends Tenma’s desperate fiancé on a search for a cure with an angry Valkyrie and a slippery mage for company, plus a talking coyote with a magic stomach.
