I continue to be impressed at the quality of the writing demonstrated by Elizabeth Hanbury. Her characters are lively and refreshing and she weaves a story that keeps you intrigued. Her knowledge of the period and how she incorporates this into the plot is outstanding. You are transported back in time,an observer in the ballroom watching the characters and the plot unfold, completely drawn in by creativity of the writer. Can't recommend this book highly enough!

Awkward stepmother and stepsister, abductions so fairly dramatic. Three stars is generous.
