Cristie Matthews is obsessed with The Phantom of the Opera. On her once-in-a-lifetime trip to Paris, she visits the Palais Garnier to see the play. Afterward, she hides, remaining in the empty building to relive the haunting story once again. Then she sees HIM! But how can that be? He is a myth, a legend. Or is he?

A superb book, a short story with a good continuation of Phantom of the Opera. I think like Christie all of us fell for the phantom and believed it should have ended another way. I don't mind him being a Vampire in this rendition and love the way the story keeps a lot of the original elements of the classic story. Great Read and Good Value

I enjoyed this continuation of the Phantom story. Like Cristie, I too grew up loving the music (who doesn’t?) and I like the story for that reason. While the idea of the Phantom being a vampire is not new, I enjoyed how the author was able to orchestrate the power of the original story into this continuation. It is a great quick read, one that I have read many times.
