About Dawn Gray

I grew up in the nothern wilderness of Vermont and for years have been occupied with my own worlds and creating my own characters. Currently, I have 6 books of an on going book series called The Vampire Legacy out in print. The 7th is soon to be published. S.P.I.R.I.T has evolved to a three book series so far, and Raven and Before the Moon Rise are also stand-alone novels.

Also in S.P.I.R.I.T

Summary: The Green Mountains of Vermont is a wonderland of picturesque valleys and hills, a landscape of fields and small towns that are hidden treasures. However, they can also hide many secrets.
Burke Flats, located in the upper right hand corner of the state, the Northeast Kingdom, has many skeletons in its closet.
Lieutenant Will Stiles and his group of men, the S.P.I.R.I.T. team, are called in to investigate the strange happenings around the marshlands of Burke Flats. For generations the marshes have been a place of ghostly lore, disappearances, and strange deaths.
Anna and Blake call the Flats home, but when the deaths begin to pick up in numbers they are more than happy to have the help of the military’s new elite. Will having the S.P.I.R.I.T. team so close open up a world of evil that they aren’t prepared for? Can a member of a different unit help spread some light on the subject? Join Anna, Blake, Will, and his team in a fight against a stronger malevolent presence than anyone ever expected.

The Review
I really enjoyed this book, The author certainly had me staying up all night to read this one, It had super creepy instances so be warned, The author was very graphic in this novel, much more than in S.P.I.R.I.T. Fire Storm, the other in this series, I loved the characters in this one, Blake was the life & soul of this book for me, his relationship with Evers was awesome, Nice to see an army sergeant who is gay, even if he was still worried what others would think, times are changing and he seemed to realise that later in the book, I loved Anna and Will, there relationship was truly beautiful, in the terrible town where the S.P.I.R.I.T. team ended up, A fantastic team camaraderie between them all, just how I would expect them to be during the terrible times that had been on, This is a fantastic read, I will be recommending this to all my friends, 4.5/5/

S.P.I.R.I.T. Series, Volume 2

Lieutenant Will Stiles and his group of men, the S.P.I.R.I.T. team, are called in to investigate the strange happenings around the marshlands of Burke Flats. For generations the marshes have been a place of ghostly lore, disappearances, and strange deaths.

I loved the first book in the series, S.P.I.R.I.T. Fire Storm, so couldn’t wait to read this. This series is so different to anything else I’ve come across, full of paranormal activity and supernatural powers.

This book is just as amazing as the first in the series. Very well written and incredibly descriptive, parts will leave you with shivers down your spine. The story will jump out at you and completely transport you into their world.

I’m looking forward to reading more of the series.
