About Elias Folsom

My birth name is Elias Folsom, but folks around these parts just call me "Eli" for short. I'm half choctaw, and originally from the old Indian territories now known as Oklahoma.....my family was forced here along the treacherous "Trail of Tears", when the Indians were fed a false promise of free land and prosperity on the plains of the New Frontier....But the flat dusty land held no promise for me, and I headed as far west as I could go to hunt for the precious gold that was discovered in the hills of the Great Sierras, just northeast of San Francisco.....

I write through the hand of my great grandson, who shares the passion and creativity that once burned in my young heart...I do hope you enjoy my fiction, which is geared to the youngest little sprouts on the Folsom family tree -- and all the other little twigs out there who care to listen to an old coot weave his fanciful tales. May they all enjoy the fantasy and adventure!

Give me a holler if you like...Would love to hear what you think of my writin'.....

This book is fun, fantasy reading, which will keep the reader turning the pages, while teaching the everlasting lesson that good always wins over evil. The characters are well developed and are sure to draw the reader's thoughts to similar characters they may have met in their own lives.

As this thrilling story unfolds, it is sure to entertain and stir the imaginations of young readers.
