Good read, once I got started reading it was hard for me to stop. The way his thoughts, feelings, and situations are described makes for a good mental picture of what is happening. Other than a few spelling, gramatic, and other small details, ie; he drive an avenger, but described as the chargers engine roars, I found this very well written.

This is a great origins story. A paranormal mystery with romance growing on the side. I really like the pace of the story, fast when it needs to be and slow where the reader needs more information. I kept hoping for Logan to move in one direction, then *POW* something else would happen. Some parts seemed predictable, like the hero winning, but the way it happens is fresh and imaginative.
Bringer of Fire is another great work.
My only complaint is in the language. I didn't feel that the adult language added to the realism or depth of the characters at all. In addition, I feel that it may keep this great book out of school libraries.
Over all I do recommend this book to my friends and family.

Logan Bringer definitely brought fire to this book. It was captivating through out and I had trouble putting the book down. I just wanted to see what would happen next. I can't wait for the next book to see how the plot grows and is Logan successful in keeping his family safe. Great book!!!

This book is "Just Flaming Wonderful"! In the very beginning I was a lil' worried it would be somewhat depressing dealing with illness & such, but it never gave me that sad dreary vibe. On the contrary it seemed pretty upbeat & hopeful which I found refreshing! I love the path Jaz lead us on with these characters as it was very unexpected & new! I really enjoyed seeing the characters blossom throughout the story, & the magic presented was super cool! ;*) I look forward to reading much more about Captain JFM!

Logan Bringer character is very compiling and he keeps you intrigued with the story. He had cancer and the treatment that he underwent had some side effects that gave him psyche abilities. He gets involved with the F.B.I. and him and his partner have to take down a showed company that that wants to duplicate what been done to Logan. I found that this was a great read; it kept me wanting to know more about what was going on with each page I turn. It left off in a place that I was happy with and where Jaz can have the next one pick off where he left off with this one
