Daniel Tremon sought a stable and quiet life in the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains after the passing of his first wife. But not long after he arrived, the rains started falling.

After more than two straight months of rain the townsfolk are going a little crazy, and acting like zombies under the depressing atmosphere. Daniel seeks a change of scenery after receiving a vision. On his travels he meets a young woman seeking change herself. Together they discover the truth behind the unnatural rains and the dark soul that tried to keep them apart, and who has something more sinister in mind for Daniel.

Was pretty fun book but not gory and not too long.

My friend is the author, but I really kind of like this one. I'm not much into horrors, but this is a semi-spooky fun one with a good battle and a twist at the end. Needs an editor though, but good book for the price.
