Meet Belinda Carson, Wing Girl.

She's a kick-ass, take-no-prisoners investigative reporter fighting for truth, justice and higher ratings. Despite working on TV, she packages herself in a brown paper wrapper to maintain her journalistic credibility.

Her friends call her "Wing Girl" since she always inadvertently takes one for the team, but in a different way than the male of the species. While her fame draws men like insects to a bug zapper, the guys get fried by a snarky attitude that's sharp enough to slice a stale bagel. Leaving her friends to swoop in for delectable leftovers.

So her friends give her a serious makeover. New wardrobe, new makeup. Contacts replace the glasses. Her "bun of steel" hairstyle is transformed into a softer, sexy look. Short skirts and revealing tops show off previously hidden assets.

Unfortunately you can't buy a new personality at Bloomingdales.

She lands in a relationship with a financial consultant named Scott, who seems to be the perfect catch. But her friend Roxanne thinks he's Mister Wrong, because Scott has set off her foolproof bullshit detector. She wants to set Belinda up with her cousin the cab driver, Vincent. The two keep running into each other; yet every time they meet it's oil vs. water. But a little bit of serendipity lets her see him in a different light. Her heart becomes tangled; torn between Scott and Vincent. Eventually Belinda breaks a big story that changes all three of their lives... and lands her with the right man.

WING GIRL is a romantic comedy about a successful career woman who gets a physical makeover... and in the process discovers her own heart.
