About Tamara Emery

I was born in Anehiem, California in 1975 the youngest daughter out of two. My mother worked at Continental Airlines and my father worked as a subcontractor for Calspas and worked at Alpha Beta grocery store as a meat cutter. I come from a household where children were to be seen and not heard. Unable to voice my feelings, I resorted to express myself on paper. Through my diaries that I have written over the past years, I used my life's experiences and the pain that I felt at various times and expressed them through poetry. When you read my poems its like reading an autobiography of my life's experiences both good and bad as I take you on a journey through my thoughts, feelings, break-ups and hang-ups. Enjoy.
