A stream of consciousness that was a little overwhelming to read, mostly because the sentences kept going and going and going, I felt like I needed to stop for air. Whether this was intentional or not for the characterisation, I'm not sure.
There were multiple issues with tense and a lot of contradictions in the narrative which interrupted the reading experience.
On a positive note, I liked the plot. I very much enjoy stories about unusual topics and situations, and an FBI agent being shot by their doctor, is a little unusual. Not too sure if I would call it realistic fiction though...
