So first, thank you to everyone for all the support. I’m really pleased and flattered and grateful that people are actually interested in reading what I write.
Just, thank you!
So without further ado, hi, I’m Tess and I write smut. And sometimes other things.
But mostly I try to write slightly thinky, realistic, character-driven erotica. That’s what I think I’m doing, anyway. People do kinky stuff, but hopefully in the way real people might, when they’re having an especially good day. Which is to say, I write about people in strong relationships trying new things, like bringing in new sex partners, and sometimes about their relationships getting complicated and ending, too, but usually in ways that mean its for the best. So people change, and develop, and live their lives, and that’s connected to the sex they’re having. And they have a lot of sex.
Some of what I write is about women and men, and some of it is about women and other women, and this should be clear from the blurbs.
So anyways. Here’s the new plan. I’m going to start putting everything I write up for free as soon as it’s done.
Yep, that's right. Everything I ever write. All of it. Free.
I should probably write that as FREE!!!
Then, every so often, I’ll also make anthology collections and put them up for a price. Because then it can be like a weird validation thing, with the getting paid. But without actually stopping anyone from reading.
So that all sounds a bit weird right? Everything’s free except it isn’t? Well, I really like this place, and I also like people reading what I write. So it kind of makes sense, at least to me. And yes, it is kind of part of a devious plan to, um, I don't know, win you over, I guess, and guilt you into one day eventually buying things. But really, really mild guilt, I completely promise. So don’t worry if you ever end up buying anything. Read all the same!
Because, yeah, I want to sell billions of books one day, but I also want people just to read what I write, and I don’t want people to feel pressured to pay, and this all seems like it might work.
So just to be really, completely clear, so no-one is upset when they realize later on. The anthology books collect stories into an actual book, and an ebook is probably easier to read, and if you would like to buy it, I would really appreciate it, and that would be fantastic. But on the other hand, if you’d rather try reading a little first, or would rather not pay at all for whatever reason, then please don’t!
Because the stories in the books are the same stories as are already up for free as stand-alone ones. And the ones that aren’t, those are on my website, and are usually the shorter or less smutty ones.
So if you’re already paid for stuff, please don’t feel like you’re getting tricked here or something, because paying has always been only if you wanted to, and you didn’t have to. This is just trying the same idea on a bigger scale. And if you have paid in the past too, you really don’t need to pay again, there isn’t anything new you can’t get elsewhere.
I mean, except the new stories as they appear, which I’ll keep putting up as free, like I have been for the last month or so anyway.
So basically, there’s no need to pay for anything unless you want to.
So right. We’re all clear on this?
And also, um, thank you. Really, just thank you all heaps for reading what I’ve written until now, and wanting to read other things, and just for everything, really.

Deep, interesting characters, realistic dialogue, and an overall intimacy makes this story feel like narrative nonfiction. Both incredibly erotic and unbelievably personal, it allows us to peek in on the lives of a couple exploring their fantasies.

Very well written and really hot storyline. Ms. Mackenzie recognized that in order to open up their relationship to include others that open and honest communication is necessary. Even though I wished the dialog would include more in depth discussion as to both Melissa's and Scott's mindset, they did check with each other often, to just be sure that each other was OK with it. Continued honest discussions are needed to discuss what each of them liked, disliked, turned them on and what made them feel uncomfortable after each encounter as each took the adventure a bit further.
Otherwise it was an excellent story, my first from this author, and I look forward to the follow up of "Sharing Melissa"

Ms. Mackenzie has done it again. Very interesting situation, with realistic, blunt and introspective dialogue, which for some reason makes it very hot. When the explorations cause trouble in the relationship, it really enhanced the story for me. These feel like real people, which makes the stakes higher, which makes the payoffs better.
