This was one that kept my up all night reading. That makes for a positive book review but is not good for my life. Oh well, life's too short to bother with sleep.

Left me wanting more...which says everything. Throw in references to Big Bang Theory's Sheldon and his odd relationship, oh my...its a feast for the geek at heart. There is fighting, humor, vulnerability, magic and a bit of romance. Excellent read, highly recommended, though addictive in nature. When's the next book due?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I didn't go into reading it with any expectations, but I was hooked from the start. The characters were well developed. I appreciated the fact that each of the characters had their own flaws; I can't stand too-perfect characters. Ryanne was a great lead character. She was strong, yet vulnerable. The plot moved along at a nice pace. There were a couple of places that were skimmed over a little quickly, but it didn't deter from the plot line. A couple of editing issues, but nothing terrible. I proofread on a daily basis so things pop out at me, but it didn't distract too bad from the story. Overall, an intriguing beginning to a new series. I will be buying the next installments. Rating: 4.5 stars

So good read it all in one sitting! What a great way to spend a snow day. The charaters were so real and I was able to connect to them. I knew Claire was up to something when she called Ryanne into the hall. I like the way Ryanne slowly starts to realize she has more going for her than she thought. Great book, I look forward to the next one. Please have a next one don't leave us hanging.

It's 4am and I've just finished reading this book. OMG, it's amazing. I started reading at about half 9 and I couldn't put it down. I hope the next one is just round the corner, I can't wait. The rapport, the training, the fighting, the togetherness, it all just comes together so beautifully. I love it, I love it, arrgghhh.
