About Kate Tenbeth

I live in Essex in the UK with my son and two cats, Puzzle and Bud. I've always loved writing and have now self-published 3 books and two short stories in the children's series Burly & Grum, and one novel, 'Unlucky Dip' for young adults. I'm very proud that one of the books in the Burly & Grum series 'The Secret City' was a finalist in the People's Book Prize Awards 2014.

I will continue to write and self-publish; I've learnt a lot and met some wonderful people along the way and I have a great sense of achievement. If anyone loves to write I would definitely recommend self-publishing - you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

I hope you enjoy my stories.

Kate :)

What a great read! Enjoyable and fun. Just the right length and a good way of introducing the need for wildlife conservation. Let's hope there are many more Simon's out there!
