Extended description

Sometimes the best offense is a good rebound...

Adam McCarthy has had a really bad week. In addition to nearly losing his three brothers in a tragic boating accident, his now ex-girlfriend has double-crossed him right out of the successful computer company he founded in New York City. What he needs is a few days at home on Gansett Island to make sure his beloved brothers are safe and to get back in touch with what really matters—his family, his friends and the tiny island that soothes his battered soul. The McCarthy family is back and I so want to be in their family. That's what makes this book/series/author one of my favorites. Her characters are people I want to hang with. I miss them when the book is done and can't wait for the next one. Adam McCarthy has a special place in my heart. He is similar to his brothers yet he is very different in the fact that he keeps more to himself. I loved Abbey and her coming out of herself in order to gain what she needed. If you want to read a story and just feel that aww feeling ready the McCarthy series. There is humor, some tradegy and lots of love.
