K. J. Knight is the penname of an aunt and niece team who began writing together in 2005 just for fun. DEAD PEOPLE'S THINGS has been an ongoing work-in-progress that they have enjoyed creating over the years. Janet Knight has been published in newspapers and magazines and has reviewed books for the Houston Chronicle. She also won the Golden Pen Award for mainstream fiction at the Southwest Writer's Conference in Houston, Texas. Karen Knight Kaster has written numerous technical manuals as program manager for a psychiatric rehab. Both have taken advanced writing courses and both have written for years as a hobby.
