This is an intimate, well-paced short story of a married couple, and exemplifies their definition of the concept of 'Breakfast in Bed'. The only drawback is that while the story makes its points pertinently, it would have been interesting to have had more back story about the couple, and what makes them tick, but what is presented is sufficient for its purposes.

To me, good erotica should affect the imagination and the body. He accomplishes both in a very short amount of time.

For a first timer, this is pretty good! The tell-tale sign of a good story? I wanted to read more! Hopefully, his next work will be a bit longer.

I was very pleased to read/review the erotic short story "Breakfast In Bed" by R. Zimmerman.
I thought the writing was very good, although, it was extremely short in length. As a personal preference (as a reader) I feel the author probably could have developed the characters a little more, but for a 600 piece, I am very aware how difficult that is to do.
This is the author's first erotic piece and I feel he has a lot of potential in the erotic genre. Erotic writing is a craft in and of itself and must be honed just like every other genre.
Hopefully Zimmerman will build on this story in the future.

What a great way to wake. I've read Robs poetry, he's real about what he writes. His erotic short is no different, tasteful writing about a husband and wife loving their mornings together. Sweet!

What a vivid snapshot of real life! Sexy. Steamy without being vulgar. Zimmerman has what it takes, The hook to pull you in and the story to keep you there. Next time I hope he tries to triple the words or better yet go for a novel.

Nick likes breakfast in bed. Julie enjoys being breakfast in bed.

Well-written, sweet yet steamy this short will make you smile wickedly and say, 'Please, Sir, may I have another?'

This was a nice short, romantic but very sexy read. I think this short could turn into really nice long story...just saying

I'm a fan of this author's poetry, which I highly recommend checking out if you haven't already, and I was excited to see he had written a fiction short story. I loved it! It was sexy and lovely and read like his poetry to me. I'm very much looking forward to anything else he writes.

Breakfast in Bed is a fast but fun read that has the perfect blend of sexy and sweet. It’s well worth the few cents to buy it. I particularly liked the narrator’s voice. Despite the fact that it’s labeled as erotica, there is a backstory to the lustful elements that makes you smile. It’s only 600 words so I can’t really say much more without spoiling it, but I CAN say that this comes highly recommended.

Very hot for such a short piece. I can't wait to see where the author takes these characters next.

This was a great taste of what's to come for this author (yeah, yeah pun intended)! For flash fiction this was great. It's not often that I get to read erotica from a man's POV and certainly not from a male author and it was well done.

For being a first attempt to write erotica, I think it was a good one. It's flash fiction, so it is very short, but it gets straight to the point. A short piece about a couple enjoying their very own "breakfast in bed", as they start their morning in a very exciting way.
