Just love this series. Can't get enough and know that it has to end at some point, however I am pleased to see that there is a Dimention Saga also. I am now on the 5th book and thought after reading the 1st that it was move for women. The 1st book was needed to set the stage for the rest but I believe Men would love these books also. If men read the first book and think it is a hearts and flowers - you are mistaken. Lot's of laugh's too. Just Excellent.

Excellent series.I am currently on the 4th book(Equites) of the series but I have enjoyed every word thus far. Like her series, Dimension Saga, which i personally thought was plain awesome, T.M Nielsen has this way of portraying her protagonists as being petite women who appears frail and weak but in reality is a lot stronger than the credit she's given by anyone in the books, and is able to overcome any obstacle thrown at them; in both Heku series and Dimension Saga; which I can't help but imagine that she writes these books through her personal experiences and just portrays them as fiction (being a hobby writer), but then again I've never seen her nor do I know her.....but the series are a great read.

I have enjoyed the series from book one to book four and find I have trouble leaving my e-reader alone. LOL I rush through my daily routine to get back to it to continue with the series. I have got all nine of the ebooks and will be sad when i finish the last one.

I discovered the first three of this series in obooko, and was delighted to discover the continuing saga was available through smashwords. I found the books were compelling reading, and even though there was a certain predictability about the story lines, there was enough versatility to engage the reader to the end. I really enjoyed the way the author presented the Heku, as I do not usually go for "vampire" stories. This was a different perspective and the characterizations were excellent. The subtleties of character and culture were interesting, and continuity was very good.

I really do LOVE this series. My only complaint is by the 4th book, I start to really feel for Emily, seems like she is always either abused or confused or fighting with Chev. I think she needs a break and the other characters can get kidnapped : )

And the drama continues. I could hardly wait to find out what else was going to happen and what was going to happen next. hard to put down, just like the first three in the series.
