I read all over the board when it comes to romance, including the genres and sensuality. I had read a Regency Christmas Anthology that I found during the holidays and realized how much I missed these Traditional Regencies and was thrilled to find Shannon Donnelly's UNDER A KISSING BOUGH. This is my first venture into her books but so not the last! She has two more here and I plan to get as soon as I can. Its hard to put into words how comforting this book was to read! Eleanor Glover was a heroine that felt so much like what I read many behaved during the regency era with all the society rules they had. She was shy and quiet but so a delight! I could even almost call her sly as she opened up more and more with Geoffrey. She surprised him so much that I would sit back and laugh because he was looking for someone who would just be a timid wife and do all she was to do. It was so beautiful to read over the book as they come to love one another. This really opened up both of them in getting to know who they really are to each other. Its set at Christmas time, but I'd read it anytime. Highly recommend this one!
