Hoshi Sato trained for many years in Japan to become a licensed fugu chef. He travels to America to follow his dreams of opening a restaurant and finding his childhood sweetheart. His love interest teaches an art class which Hoshi joins and meets a wealthy heiress, a TV journalist, an evil con man, two housewives and an actor, among others. The con man is poisoned by fugu that Hoshi prepared, but Lieutenant James soon finds that almost everyone had a motive to kill the scoundrel. The Yakuza, Japanese Mob appeared to be involved too. When the TV journalist hands over a tape of the murder scene from Hoshi's restaurant, James finds the artistic clue that leads to capturing the murderer.Tags
