Extended description

Much has been written about the WhiteCity, the UNESCO World Heritage, but only little has been said about the historical context and why the White City is at home in Tel Aviv. This book gives you an overview of building styles, influences of the events of that decade and those architects who created the White City.

This book contains a map with the location of 12 exemplary buildings. In their vicinity you will find more representatives of the International Style. Walking tours through the different neighborhoods of Tel Aviv can be found in a separate ebook (“Tel Aviv Walking Tours”).

Great book. Gives you a detailed overview about history and cleans up all the myths about who it was, what the correct name is, bio of the architects, etc. Makes you think!
