About Amanda Gannon

Amanda Gannon is an author, artist, and profaniteer who spends too much time around skulls to be considered truly sane. She hoards pirate treasure and cat whiskers, bakes excellent ginger cookies, and wants to be a supervillainess when she grows up.

Despite being told that she would never find love if she didn't stop barking at people, she is happily married to Paul Batteiger. They have two cats, live in Oklahoma, and enjoy watching terrible movies without pants on. Scandalous!

A chronicle of Amanda's exploits (mostly pantsless) can be found at http://naamah_darling.livejournal.com.

The book started out really well, it had me hooked right away so I went ahead and purchased before I had gotten too far...big mistake! I was so very disappointed with this book especially since it had such high reviews! It had a good plot and I liked the main characters, but the fact that the heroine of the story (whom I liked very much at first) relished in becoming a whore really turned me off to the whole thing. The fact the she enjoys being "ravaged" multiple times in degrading ways ruined the whole story for me. I skipped through a lot of the sex scenes cause they were pretty much all the same. Really wanted to like it but just couldn't. :(

I love how Amanda Gannon writes her stories. Beautiful erotica, varied loves scenes of all types and cater to all tastes. Since it covers pretty much everything, if you're looking for it, you can find it here. Be warned, though, there is a lot of "ravishing" that goes on, but everything is very tasty.

Amanda's story lines are even more fun than her erotica bits. A great story, with exciting twists and turns, and mysteries that get uncovered and discovered as the story unfolds. The reader knows what's going on the entire time, as you get to read it from many different character viewpoints, but there are some surprises. There is great action, awesome sword fights and glorious death scenes.

Not my favorite book by Amanda, but comes very close.

This is a *fabulous* book - the characters are well-rounded (and well endowed ;) ) and there is actual [good, believable] plot! And a great deal of good humor - I love when I can giggle like a fool while reading. In sum, great writing!

I adore this story. The characters are well-developed, and have depth! The sex is hot. The plot is gripping.

Phenomenal work.
