EXCERPT
She jumped to her feet. His arm shot out, blocking her way. The sudden movement made her scream and he grabbed her by the shoulders, turning her to face him. Her struggles knocked the hood from his head, exposing his features to the moonlight.

He was stunning.

Dinah stopped fighting him and simply gaped at his strong jaw, his full lips, his roman nose. Even his glowing eyes looked beautiful set in such a face. She couldn’t tear her gaze away from him.

The Mothman brought his hand up to her face and ran the back of his knuckles along her jawline. She shivered at his icy touch, tingles rising on her skin as his hand moved down her throat and came to rest at the neck of her t-shirt.

He stopped, their eyes locked together. Fear and excitement mixed in her veins until she didn’t know what to think. She gazed up into his monstrous eyes and felt the heat of his desire. Everything about him told her how much he wanted her, but what did she want?

Moving his hands down over her clothes, he crowded in on her. There was nowhere to go – the tree was rough and hard at her back while he was hard and insistent in front of her.

With a sudden grunt, he curled his hands in the collar of her t-shirt and tore it in two. She lifted her hands to cover herself, pulling at the tatters of fabric, but the creature grasped her wrists and pulled them aside.

He pinned her to the tree, his gaze sweeping over her and making her tremble. When he licked his lips, a tremor ran through her. She imagined his mouth on her, cold and hungry. She thought of her body beneath his, naked on the dirty ground. The images wouldn’t leave her, no matter how much she tried to push them aside. The monster wanted to take her.

And she was going to let him.
