The plot of the story is fresh but the editing is in dire need of a professional editor. Words are missing, extra words were left in, and sentence structure is clumsy. Plague is used for plaque, scarcely is used for sparsely and passed is used multiple times instead of past. It's difficult to read and often requires backtracking to re-read a paragraph. The characters are interesting. Please author, hire an editor.

Assume Nothing has a wonderful title. So it was intriguing right from the beginning. This book is a fun little story with very colorful characters and wonderfully natural dialog
