"How to Write a Great Query Letter" is a useful tool that clearly and concisely lays out the format and contents of a query letter in order for it to achieve its purpose. These are not mere edicts; Mr. Lukeman explains why queries must be written in this way in order to be read.
I believe it would be well worth an hour of any prospective writer's time to read this.

I really appreciated this short book. The query letter is a very difficult part of writing, but Mr. Lukeman uses a step-by-step approach that really takes the mystery out of this process. His years of experience as an agent are evident and offer the perfect perspective for this type of work. If you're in the query writing stage, you'll definitely want to take a look at this book.
