I really liked the concept of the plot line, however the characters need further development especially Stephan. I don't think there's a single 'meaningful' or insightful conversation about him. And I felt like Lorraine's reactions were not exactly realistic or authentic.
There's moments in the piece where it would have been better if the scene was shown not told, instead of telling the reader that they're talking about fluff and stuff, show them by using conversation. I did find this piece was distinctly lacking in speech and conversation between characters.
Altogether it was very well written with no grammatical issues and a very intriguing plot line.
