Sadie Jones has always felt like the odd girl out. She grew up as an adopted child in a loving home but she never felt like she fit in anywhere. After college she and her best friend moved into their own apartment. Everything was going great until she lost her job and the strange dreams began. Originally they just seemed like really vivid dreams, then he showed up in them; a mysterious, gorgeous man. First he haunted her dreams then her reality. He is a Mandurago aka Vampire, that shows her a hidden world full of magic and danger. Suddenly she is thrown into a world she is unsure of, a future which was decided for her before she was born, and a man she is quickly falling in love with.

Fantastic book. Really captured vampires in a new way. I love the ties to Indian culture. I felt like the author really knew the characters, the way they lived and breathed. I hope there are more in the series! I can't wait to see what happens next!
