Short description

The FreeWeight system uses a new understanding of available research to enable anyone to control their weight permanently. It is not a diet, it is a way of controlling the major cause of obesity; eating excessive amounts of carbohydrates. Written by a Clinical Psychologist. It contains helpful advice in overcoming the major obstacles to weight control such as negative thinking and depression.

Extended description

The FreeWeight System is not a diet, it is a gentle weight control system with none of the unpleasant side effects of diets. It runs counter to the current obsessive approach to weight loss and control, and involves no calorie counting, or repetitive weighing.

The timed format of the system allows limited amounts of normally forbidden foods such as French fries and rice to be eaten while still losing or reducing body weight. Once on the program it is possible to eat a normal calorie intake of 2000 to 2400 calories and still lose weight. The timed format ensures that the natural weight control mechanisms of the body can recycle body fat into energy and so reduce weight.

It is not a drop two dress sizes in ten days program; those are the regimes which make you gain weight over time. This is a gentle, natural way to control your weight and keep control in the future.
