Great story, Nathan. The story was very well crafted. And the ending was perfect. I noticed that someone gave you five stars but didn't like the artful ending. I am also a writer, many genres, and I like to leave endings that the reader has to understand by gathering details from what he just read. Some readers love that and others want the ending served up nice and simple. I definitely recommend this story to anyone. JT Pearson

OMG. Really enjoyed this short story. Wish he would write more to finish off the hung ending.

Good opening, good descriptions, good narrative and pacing, good ending. Leaves the reader wanting more. What's not to like?
