Clearly written by someone who has not walked the streets he send others to hike. Much information gleaned from online sources without giving credit. Much incorrect. Important buildings overlooked.

For Rochester, the Landmark Society of Western New York has 14 different free online tours of which 6 correctly and thoroughly guide one around the downtown area, which this book purports to cover. I suppose you get what you pay for. Yet, I still feel cheated.
